Its scent captured us, pervaded us, inebriated us...” (travel notes) The essence of incense comes from the resin of the Boswellia carterii tree. The best quality comes from Somalia. The harvest period is from November to February; during this period, the bark of the trees is incised to allow the resin to drip. After a few days, the resin hardens, forming the gum, which is then ready for the extraction of the essential oil. ENCENS SACRÉ was born from the search for a sublime balance between two olfactory nuances of incense: the essence extracted by distillation, with una A sweet, mineral, balsamic note, and the essence obtained through high-temperature distillation, which offers the true impression of burnt incense, in homage to the ancient art of fumigation.
