Perfect for holding a small item, like a cup, this plinth was probably part of a wall design in wood. It is architectural salvage. I believe there must have been a split in the piece but it does not compromise the charm and construction of the carving.

Th century furniture. It can be attached to the wall or a bookcase and will make a striking impact. It is powerfully carved, with deep set eyes and heavy brows, a strong wide noise with open nostrils, and pouchy cheeks.

Th century English carving on what I believe is an oak panel (but the wood could be different). The scene that is depicted is almost heraldic. This is a stunning piece of 19.

This is a beautifully hand-carved solid wood architectural piece, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1910). Perfect for use as a small wall shelf, architectural salvage, or as a standalone decorative accent.

It would still add that rich effect, on the wall or on a bookcase.
