The vehicle has: ∙ An open-top body with rows of individual seats ∙ A long chassis with large spoked wheels ∙ A cab-forward engine section typical of the era ∙ What appears to be a folded hood/canopy at the rear 45 hp AEC” — The initials stand for Associated Equipment Company, a British manufacturer founded in 1912. AEC was famous for building buses, coaches, and trucks, most notably for London Transport. A 45hp engine would be consistent with their larger vehicles of the 1920s. ”(WRK)” at the bottom is likely the artist’s initials — their signature.
