This is a one page handwritten inventory and accounting of the land holdings of the Manor “Wike Episcopi” in Worcestershire, UK. Which we believe refers to what is now styled as Wick Episcopi. This document dates circa mid 17th Century and is in an early hand. It is a period original document, executed upon watermarked laid paper of the period. I believe it lists tenants and the values of the lands rented to them in the first table and “arable lands” and their values in the second. Written on one side of a folded sheet of laid paper, measuring 9” x 12.5” (folded.) This was previously auctioned at Sotheby’s, 26th June, 1967, lot 766. Very good condition.
