A lovely little brass miner's snuffbox inscribed and decorated by its maker, R Perren in 1905. It is in lovely condition with some wear to the decoration on the reverse from constant use. The name Perren is Cornish in origin so this may have belonged to a tin miner, or the owner may have left for South Wales to dig coal, either way it is a great piece of social history.
