Wonderfully detailed pair of Georgian brass fire trivets with hand made iwrought iron bases dating from 1780 onwards.The tallest is 13 inches high and the smaller 5 inches .The taller one has a loose base.

These heavy pans were traditionally used for cooking jams and preserves, featuring robust handles and copper rivets. Cramped and soldere joints on base and side which indicates that this piece was hand crafted.

Antique jam pan which I think may have been used as fire bucket as it is very grubby inside - see photos. Has general wear and marks and the handle has corrosion.

Probably Chinese?. 21.5cm x 15cm. Features what look like quite comical exotic fantail fish decorations. The brass is about 2mm thick and the tray is quite heavy at just under 400g.
