The covered tankard. It has a plain, slightly tapered body with a simple strap handle and hinged pewter lid, typical of mid-Victorian pub wares. The hinge of the lid rattles slightly.

This detailed high quality bronze is a very lifelike example of a hunting dog. Stands 25cm high, 32cm long & 12cm deep. The bronze is finished on a polished solid marble base. Base is signed 'Moigniez', however this is a modern reproduction of his work.
