The name changed to Sport and Country in 1947 and soon afterwards to Farm and Country in 1954. Size of a single page is 16 x 12 inches (410 x 300) and a double page is sized at 22 x 16 inches (560 x 410). All of these are the genuine article and not modern reproductions. Please also check the image carefully for any foxing as these are over 100 years of age and are likely to show. All prints are original antique prints and are not copies. Many are unique and rare. This is for the pair of hand painted 1800’s Edo/Meji Imari plates. Rare, hard to find pattern. Plates are in good condition consistent with their age. See the last two pictures . It shows one plate has crazing to front and back with a flea bite to rim. All consistent with age. Other plate no evidence of significant crazing. Both plates 8.5”. Excellent cabinet plates. Rare early pieces.
