There is just a little bagging at the bottom which does not detract from it's splendour. The detail is amazing and the wall hanging really is a feast for the eyes. The scene is printed in stunning shades of red, gold, green and blue on a linen background.

I think this is more likely to have been used as a rug because the piece is quite heavy. The canvas/linen backing is loosely tacked and the bottom hem is open which exposes the reverse neat chain stitch.
