In lovely condition, this Victorian box features a beautifully crafted, solid Mahogany case that has a gorgeous golden hue and fabulous patina that only age and use can create. The box has an ornate keyhole escutcheon in the shape of a shield, there is no key. Inside is the original scarlet felt lining, that is in poor but untouched condition, further confirming that the box has not been tampered with.
