Each type is included so you can decide when you’re dropping the tray in. get an adapter kit that will allow you to connect the tray to your drum through the vent hole in a few different ways. For wood or acrylic drums the jack barrel is usually too short (8.5mm see pic) to fit through the vent hole and be long enough to get a jack nut on it.
