It is a heavy piece weighing 6.4 lbs. It is largely as found as I've only wiped with a damp cloth. This is nearly an antique so there is other expected wear such as dullness on the phone body and handset.

This is a 1940s or 50s Western Electric Bell System black telephone with a straight vinyl cord that has an area with electrical tape wrapped around it. I think it is made of bakelite and is a model # 302 but it is not stamped on the bottom. The phone is in fair / good condition with wear on the headset and dial. There are light scratches and scuffs on the base as well as a large sticker. There is dust in the crevices and it could use a more thorough cleaning. The phone is untested.
