Vintage Iron Age #8 Cast Iron Chicken Pan & Lid. Manufacturing was Foster Foundry in 1930’s. Rare find. Both pieces are in very good condition. Cooking surface is smooth with minimal utensil scratches. There is a rippling feel to inside curve. Also there is some rippled lines. These look like cracks in picture but they are just manufacturing flaws. The back is completely smooth. Writing is clear and bold. Sets level on glass top stove please look at the pictures carefully to judge condition for yourself. Email me with your questions. And as always thanks for looking! Both pieces were lye bath cleaned and seasoned once with canola oil for one hour at 400 degrees.
