Wheeling Pottery Co. was a prominent manufacturer of pottery, including ironstone and porcelain wares, from 1879 to 1923 in Wheeling, West Virginia. The extensive crazing (a network of fine cracks in the glaze) visible on the surface of the object in the image is a common characteristic of older ceramic pieces.
