Stangl Pottery is known for its hand-painted designs and high-quality craftsmanship. This particular piece appears to be an Aladdin-style oil lamp, which was a popular design during the mid-20th century. The speckled glaze and unique handle design are characteristic of Stangl's art pottery line. These lamps were often produced in various colors and glazes, making them collectible items today.

5.5 inch tall by 7 inch wide pottery oil lamp base. Although it is very glossy, you can still feel a little bit of grainy texture on the body. The swirl is etched into the clay just a little bit. There are no chips or cracks, but the top ring is not glazed. No glaze on the inside. There is a manufacturing crack on the bottom but the base still holds liquid with no leaks. There is a Clay Fair in Oregon and this vase was found in Washington. That is what led me to believe that it is signed Clay Fair.
