I have for sale a great Franz Bergman signed Austrian cold painted bronze figurine of a praying Muslim on an Persian prayer carpet. His slippers are removed and lay on the side of the rug. It is in beautiful condition with very little wear to the paint or gilding. The statue itself has no damage whatsoever. It is signed on the base with the B in a jug. All items similar to this are described as cold painted bronze though the metal showing is silvery, it may be coated over the bronze. It is approx 18cm high and is a table lighter, The metal rod usually has a flint and cloth attached and is struck downwards at the vertical slot on the right side of the rug.
