Nice old landing net with beautifully patinated brass (or copper) collar and screw-in yoke. (Oxidation will need to be removed to unscrew handle.) This is a large, impressive piece, measuring approximately 38 inches long, with remaining handle, and 18 inches wide. I have seen the same make of net with an uncut handle that was 86 inches overall. The remaining netting is brittle and broken in many places. I have done rudimentary repairs with contrasting white cord to keep the net attached to the frame. With new cordage, this could be an amazing, battle-scarred user. But just as it is, it makes for a profound statement piece hung on a wall or propped in a corner, which is where it currently resides, waiting for you to give it a forever home.
