GPS powers on and connects to satellites. Seems sluggish to me, but I think that's just due to the age of the device. I would suggest doing a reset on it and trying to do a software upgrade. Usb cable not included. 12V car adapter included, along with partial mount - you'll need the ball "arm" part of the mount. That ball/arm size is pretty standard so any Magellan one should work - and any generics should work too. Thanks, Mike
