This original beautifully hand coloured antique map of the English County of Berkshire by Joan Blaeu was published in the 1662 edition ofAtlas Major. (Ref: Tooley; M&B). In 1672 a disastrous fire destroyed Blaeu\'s printing house in the Gravenstraat and a year afterwards Joan Blaeu died.

this is an original 1600s thin paper map titled " wiltoniae " this measures 15.1/4" - 12.1/4" with a cenre crease where this has been two pages . this is in used condition with some light crinkling to the pages where this has been behind glass .this would look superb mounted and in a nice frame .please look at all the photos
