Large County map with hand colouring to the borders. Overall size of 45.5 x 33cm inclusive of the border. Light toning to the paper, a couple of minor closed edge tears, not affecting the map itself, small corner tear, but not reaching as far as the map itself, and overall generally in good order.

DATE PRINTED : 1830. Decorated with a vignette view of Gloucester Cathedral. The map was first published in "Pigot & Co.'s British Atlas Of The Counties Of England" that first appeared in 1830 and was re-published until c.1845 after which the plates were sold to Slater.
