Robert Morden - Map of Berkshire “Berkshire” 1690 - map’s border 21x16.5cm Research suggests that it’s an attractive map of Berkshire – with a neatly worked curtain title-piece & border ruled as per Morden’s style, not in degrees but in minutes of real time from London. The map was probably engraved in the early 1690s but was part of a series that were not published until 1701.
