The baseboard cut-out size is 33mm x 208mm with a maximum baseboard depth of 21mm. Subsequent kits can be joined to make a longer pit with some minor alterations to the surround. The score lines indicate the locations for rail chars. The depth of the surround which sits proud of the baseboard surface is 3mm thick and designed to line up with (for example) C&L flexi-track.
