Wonderful early 16" papier mache Marionette String Puppet, on a fully peg-jointed wooden body, with weighted lead hands and feet. This could be circa 1930's but I can't be sure. It has had some later repainting I think. The strings need sorting out, as I'm not familiar with what goes where. There is expected age and play wear.
