A FOUNDER'S GRADE FRONT KNOB AND REAR HANDLE for a Stanley No. 4 or 604 smooth plane by STANLEY. These Brazilian Rosewood handles, which came from a "Type 13" version of the No. 4, are in essentially unused condition. Nearly all of the original finishes remain on both the handle and knob and nearly all of the original Stanley decal remains on the rear handle.
