Bailey’s Patent Aug 6 67 Aug 31 58 EXD.” This is an uncommon handled variant of the Bailey block plane with sliding front sole for mouth adjustment. Early yoke-style depth adjuster and classic Bailey construction. A scarce and desirable collector example of early Bailey design. Condition: Good antique condition with honest wear, patina, and finish loss. Adjustable front mouth plate present and appears functional. Rear handle is solid with no major cracks observed.
