The blade has the notched logo it has been freshly sharpened with the correct 25 degree bevel. Stanley Type 17 WWII planes had less machining so sides and sole were a bit thicker. Brass hardware was replaced with bakelite or steel since brass was needed for ammunition for the war effort.
