  5. Rare Vintage Stanley Bailey No 4 1/2H Heavy Smoothing Plane

    Listed is a very rare Stanley no 4 1/2H Heavy smoothing plane, it is in overall great condition as seen in the pictures, with the only complaint being the broken corner at the back. there are no cracks in the casting, there is just a little bit of staining around the mouth. From what I could research about this plane, it looks to be made about 1902-1907, as it has the single patent date on the lateral adjustment lever.     One patent date on the bed. The bed retains very little of the original japanning. Solid tote, cracks in the knob. Two cracks on the right cheek. Good condition, clean and pitting free.
