A Stanley Bailey No 4 plane. This is an early English made model, with the lateral lever bearing an horizontal "Stanley" stamp. The cutter is an early version too, with the more defined angled top. It's fairly short, tested fine but will need replacing sooner rather than later. Handles solid, nicely smoothed from regular handling. A well looked after plane.
