I have never seen another cupboard like this, tambour drawers are almost always mounted vertically, it is very rare to see them horizontally. The tambour section has been totally dismantled, serviced and rebuilt, the backing velum paper that holds the tambours together had perished on one side, as such it has been replaced with leather.
