This is a vinyl decal and does not have a background. You transfer it to your surface with the included transfer tape. Where the black is in the photo, will be your surface showing through. Only the colored part will be in your final applied decal.

Do not fully remove the backing on your decal. You will want to remove about 1/3 of the backing and start by applying that 1/3 of the decal to the car. Either work left to right or right to left, which ever you feel best doing.
