I'm completely flummoxed by this pot. What I do know: Brass, high-relief repoussé, 2 handles, 4 panels depicting game animals (including deer, boar, fish, and strangely a crocodile and turtle). Wood base and inside, lined with original red velvet. It is incredibly detailed and very beautiful. The base appears to have nasturtium leaves and flowers around it. It's 14.5cm tall and has a diameter of 14.5cm. In good antique condition. What I don't know: What it is, Where it is from and Who made it. There do not appear to be any maker's mark and I can't find any similar online. If you know more, please message me 🙏. Please check out my other listings, new items added regularly.
