Rosewood handles. Is plane bed painted blue = No. Number of patents behind the frog = zero. This identifies it as type 15 (1931-32). I'm no expert in identifying these but found an a guide online as follows.

Up for sale is an outstanding Stanley #6 type 11 hand plane. I say it's an early type 6 because it has the T logo iron, the low front knob, and the brass barrel nut on the bolts. This one has the corrugated sole, which is preferred by many woodworkers because of the lower friction on the planeing surface.
