Here we have a relatively early Stanley acorn plane possibly from the 1940s/50s. These were made by STANLEY in SHEFFIELD and sold as their secondary line. Just the same body as their 41/2 but with a different frog. A Good Plus to Excellent type 19 Stanley No. 4 Smoothing Plane Body. It is solid with minor wear and 96%+ japanning. Unless otherwise noted, parts have not been cleaned beyond this.
